What you'll need...
3x Diamond LEDs
1x Coin cell battery
1x Fabric snap
Some conductive thread
A sewing needle
A larger piece of felt
draw a necklace shape on the white felt and cut out the shape.
take out color felts and draw any shapes you want to decorate the necklace. or you can follow the visual guide on the left.
glue the shapes on the necklace.
build your circuit: use alligator clips to make a draft of the circuit. this will help you understand how the necklace works. Try different colors on the diamond LEDs and choose which ones you want on your necklace.
place the diamond boards on the necklace. sew each negative pad to the next using conductive thread. now turn the necklace over and place batteryboard near the end. sew to the negative pad on the batteryboard.
place the snap on the end near the batteryboard and sew from the positive pad on the battery to the snap. now refer to step #4 to sew the remaining path that connect the other side of the snap to the color pads on the LEDs. note that the battery should not be in the battery board during the building process.
