Light Up Skirt
This project is about making your Halloween costume light up and stand out!
What You'll Need:
Teknikio RGB LEDboards,
Skirt or costume as a base
Scissors, sewing needle
Plan out Your circuit
Plan out your circuit using alligator clips. Connect the negative pads of star LEDboards to eachother and to the batteryboard. Then do the same with postitive sides.
Unique brand feature
Find a skirt or your Halloween costume, that you would like to add lights to. Plan the circuit on it, by placing LEDs on top of it.
Sew the negative connections
Start connecting negatice sides of components to batteryboard.
Sew the positive sides
Now continue by sewing positive sides of Star LEDs on your skirt to batteryboard.
Make Your connections are secure
While attaching batteryboard and components to your garment, make sure pads are secured with looping thread 3-5 times through the skirt.
Repeat with additional LEDs
Now take another four Star LEDboards and attach those also to the skirt, using same stitches and technique.
Test our your project by inserting coincell batteries. Your lights should now light up!
