Pumpkin pop-up card
Let's make a spooky pumpkin pop-up card!
What You'll Need
Teknikio Light Sensorboard,
Teknikio Ghost LEDboards,
Glue, Scissors, pencil
Plan out Your circuit
Plan out your circuit using alligator clips. Connect the negative pads of ghost LEDboards to batteryboard and positive side to light sensor "sense light" pad. Then connect negative and positive side of the light sensorboard to the batteryboards negative and positive sides.
Fold the card
Pick a size for your card and fold it following the example next to it.
Cut out Your pumpkin shape
Draw and cut out pumpkin shape and its face. Make two mouth impressions, making sure, that the proportions are exactly the same
Follow the image to place your pumpkin pictures to the card. Mark where your pumpkin is located and before glueing it, let’s fix the circuit first.
Place the circuit
Use conductive tape to secure the Ghost LEDboard and connect it to the light switch. Make sure, you connect the postitive side from the Ghost LEDboard to the “sensor light” pad. Then connect minus and plus sides from the light sensor board to the batterybord on the flipside. Do the same with the minus side of the Ghost LEDboard.
Place batteryboard on the backside
To connect the tapes to the batteryboard on the backside of the card. Place the batteryboard in the middle of the card and follow the schemes from the image.
Test out your card!
Now glue all the paper parts to the card and test out your project. Circuit is activated and ghost lights up, when pumpkins mouth is opened!
